National Nuclear Security Administration Seal Plaque
The NNSA was instituted by the US Congress back in 2000. The agency is a separate organization agency under the U.S. Department of Energy. Their responsible for managing the security of the nation's nuclear weapons, naval reactor programs and nuclear nonproliferation. But in 2002, NNSA was reorganized, eliminating the layer of managing by removing its regional operations offices in New Mexico, California and Nevada. NNSA has the best technology, science and engineering with professional to promote nuclear security mission.
